TORCHBEARER FLASHLIGHT FREE Welcome to our landing for our Morse Code Reader Color Strobe Flashlight AKA Torchbearer Flashlight Free (TFF)! MEDIA AND RELEASES We have recently released a new update! FUTURE RELEASES As noted in a review response, we have committed to adding a Compass feature in 2018. This will be present as a major milestone release during next year. IMPORTANT PERMISSIONS TFF requires the use of the front-facing camera for most of its functionality. Please be sure to grant such permissions as requested for effective performance. SUMMARY TFF is a full-fledged, fully functional light-based application. It has a Flashlight, Magnifier with Flashlight capability and Picture-taking capacity, Strobe Light, Color Strobe for the Screen / Front Light, Morse Code Transmitter for the Screen/ Front-Light and a Light-Based Morse Code Reader/Receiver/Translator and a Light-Based Morse Code Sender/Transmitter. MAGNIFIER / MAGNIFYING GLASS TFF is capable as a magnifier, akin to a magnifying glass, with picture-taking capacity. Use up to 8 times zoom with the flashlight either on or off, as well as configure various camera settings for improved viewing. STROBE LIGHT TFF is capable as a strobe light. Adjust the stroboscopic rate on the fly, for fun and entertainment. FRONT LIGHT TFF is capable as a front light. Select a color for the front light, or even engage color strobe for the front light! You may also use the Front Light as a Morse Code Transmitter! FLASHLIGHT | TORCH TFF is capable as a very bright flashlight. MORSE CODE LIGHT-BASED READER TFF can both send / transmit & receive Morse code via light! TFF has been successfully tested up to a mile, although past a mile may require reflective amplification. Vagabond Rabble also has demonstration videos in light-saturated environments at night, in order to demonstrate use of the Morse Receiver in such environments. With TFF as a sender and receiver on a pair of end-to-end devices, it is not necessary to know Morse Code in order to send and receive Morse code via light. TFF acts as a translator, translating text to Morse Code with the sender, and translating from Morse Code to text with the receiver. Thus, users can translate from Morse using TFF as a Morse Code Reader with the receiver capability, and translate to Morse using TFF as a Morse Code light transmitter. This includes explanation of Camera parameters for use of the Morse Code Light Reader as a Morse Code Decoder for light-based Morse signals, such that adjusting the Camera parameters may improve Morse reception capabilities. Each of the help files summarizes and explains the core logic of each of the functions, as well as provides useful guidelines for optimizing usage and tweaking performance for fun Morse Code activities!
