112 Accessible is an app that makes emergency services more accessible to people who can't contact the 112 Emergency Centre by voice call.
For the hearing impaired:
By maximizing visual language and the use of sign language, hearing impaired people will be able to select their emergency from a total of 25 different options, grouped into
3 main categories: Firefighters, Police and Medical Emergencies. In addition, thanks to the mobile device GPS, the application will be able to send the exact user's position
to the 112 Emergency Centre along with a set of personal data that can be very useful for the emergency services. Personal data can be configured in advance, thus contacting
emergency services is a matter of seconds.
For tourists:
For those tourists who visit us and can't speak a language supported by the Emergency Centres, they can contact thanks to 112 Accessible. In addition, thanks to the mobile
device GPS, the application will be able to send the user's exact position to the 112 Emergency Center.
