Mental Rotation is a game app that allows you to test your mental rotation skills with response time (RT), whether you are young or old.
Improve your Spatial Skills and your Spatial Intelligence with a simple game !
The Theory Behind mental rotation:
Mental rotation is the ability to rotate mental representations of two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects as it is related to the visual representation of such
rotation within the human mind.
Mental rotation, as a function of visual representation in the human brain, has been associated with the right cerebral hemisphere. There is a relationship between similar
areas of the brain associated with perception and mental rotation.
In the third age there is a decay of the performance in mental rotation's tasks and in general respect to all Spatial Skills (like spatial orientation Skills and Spatial
Visualization).
Mental Rotation is therefore an opportunity to keep these spatial skills trained !
