地震や台風・洪水などの自然災害や、テロ事件、内乱や政変など不測の事態が発生した際、文部科学省や日本人学校はクラウドシステムに安否確認対象者を予め登録しこのアプリを設定した職員等に対して、安否確認通知を一斉に、または選択して送ることができます。

このアプリをインストールした人は、文部科学省や日本人学校からクラウドシステムによって送信された安否確認通知を受信し、それに対し速やかに自分の無事や、位置情報を返信することが可能です。

また、システムとのダイレクトなメッセージ送受信機能や、アプリのボタンをタップすることで日本人学校が指定した緊急連絡先にそのまま電話をかけたりEメールを送ることもできます。
