cVIGIL application will allow anyone in the election going state to report violations of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) that comes into effect from the date of announcement
of elections.
By using this app, citizens can immediately report on incidents of MCC violation within minutes of having witnessed them and without rushing to the office of returning
officer.
Once the violation is reported, the same is forwarded to the respective Field Unit for investigation. A unique number i.e. cVIGIL ID is generated and citizen can track the
status of their complaint using their cVIGIL ID from “Status” section in the app.
For any other complaints, please utilize the facility available in the mobile app/website of ECI citizen services.
