!!**Attention Android 11/12 users**!!
Starting from Android 11, DeviceSeal should be added to never sleeping Apps (Device Care => Battery => Background usage limits => Never Sleeping Apps)
(Device Care => Memory => Excluded APPs ) to ensure full protection.
APPs=> DeviceSeal=> battery => Optimise battery usage and DeviceSeal to (APPs not optimised) list.
!!**Attention Chinese Devices Owners**!!
Users having Chinese devices (with Android MUI) like Redmi,... should add DeviceSeal in excluded Apps as follows:
System Settings > Apps > Manage System Apps > Security > Boost Speed > Lock Apps, choose whatever apps you want it to run on background.
Then choose "Auto start" on the app's info.
New Features:
1) Choose the blocking mode: MIC, CAM or MIC/CAM
2) Check the Timer mode, where it will be possible to change the security mode based on a pre-configured time window
Important notes
1) Release 3.105 introduced major changes, please go through the supporting videos/release notes and grant the Camera Privilege after upgrading to 3.105 release
2) The only Camera Blocker that works on Android 11 and does not use old/obsolete Java versions which could add more risks
3) DeviceSeal should be whitelisted by any power management tool/Task killer
4) Setting DeviceSeal to Auto mode will keep Mic/Cam unsealed as long as the device is in use
5) Please refer to DeviceSeal channel for demonstration vids
6) To remove DeviceSeal, go to Settings, installed APPs, choose DeviceSeal then uninstall
7) In SEC-AUTO and Super Mode, DS GUI might pop up. Main reason is due to an APP is trying to access your Camera, mainly happens when the screen is turned on while the phone is
still secured (with a pin, pattern,..), also it may happen with Super mode when DS attempts to lock Mic/Cam while an APP is actively opening the Cam
8) DeviceSeal GUI can be easily opened from the quick launcher menu
